A Bat House for a Theatre When bats were discovered living in the large attic space of Memorial Hall in Essex Center, Vermont, the town decided it needed to do something to relocated the bats to a more suitable home. After consulting with Chiroptera Cabin Company the decision was made to put up a bat house structure on the back lawn of the Hall near a river that runs through town. An ideal location! Chiroptera Cabin Company designed and built the bat house and provided the design for a proper structure. With the Teams supervision the town erected a nice new home for the bats.
After the house was installed it was necessary to do an exclusion to move the bats from Memorial Hall into their new bat home. Check out Exclusion to see how they did it. Then check out Moving In to see if the relocation was successful. |
