Tacking the Exclusion Netting Down Here we see a worker from the Essex Department of Public Works use a piece of stapping to tack down lightweight netting. The netting covers a bat egress in the building. It will allow the bats to exit the building at dusk, but will prevent them from reentering the building the next morning. A bat house has been put up a short distance from this egress, giving the bats a new place to live when they can not reenter the building.
