Cabin Product List
Our bat houses are available in several different models and colors to meet the needs
of bats living in different geographic locations.
*We have six (6) cedar models: 2
single chamber cabin models, 2 two chamber models and 2 condo models. Each is constructed
with cedar roofs, cedar sides, beveled cedar siding fronts, and mounted on a rugged
exterior plywood back.
*We have six (6) economy models:
2 single chamber cabin models, 2 two chamber models and 2 condo models. Each is
constructed with a rugged exterior grade plywood front and back. The sides and roof are
made from pine.
*All our bat house models have
received "Bat Approved" certification from Bat Conservation International.
*We have bat house mounting kits
that contain all the parts needed to mount your bat house on a pole or the wall of a
building.
*We have bat house kits for those
who want to try your hand at building your own bat house.

We Set a New Industry Standard with Our
Groovin’ Saw Technology
Chiroptera Cabin Company was the first bat house manufacturing company to
use a
Groovin’ Saw to create grooved roosting surfaces.
Now most bat house manufactures
have followed our lead.
Our
saw allows us to groove one side of each partition/back providing
an easy
surface for the bats to cling to and climb on.
We were the first to have this Groovin’ technique approved by BCI.

bats.

An elegant 4 chamber Cedar Nursery Condo is functional and ideal for any

250 to 300 bats.
- Single Chamber Economy Cabins

A single chamber Economy Cabin is constructed from more economical
materials and is ideal for locations where appearance is not an important
factor. Holds 50 to 100 bats.
- Two Chamber Economy Cabins

A 2 chamber Economy Cabin is constructed from more economical
materials and is ideal for locations where appearance is not an important
factor. Holds 150 to 200 bats.
- Economy Nursery Condos

A 4 chamber Economy Nursery Condo is constructed from more economical
materials and is ideal for locations where appearance is not an important
factor. Holds 250 to 300 bats.
- Kits

This kit comes with all the parts and screws you need to build your own
Single Chamber Economy Cabin. Once assembled holds 50 to 100 bats.
- Mounting Brackets

The hardware you need to mount your bat house on a 4" x
4" pole or on the wall of a building.
- Ties

Show your love of bats with a wonderful bat tie. These ties are hand made in
Vermont especially for Chiroptera Cabin Company.
