Moving In To New Housing SUCCESS! Here we see bats actually living in the bat house installed at Memorial Hall in Essex Center, Vermont. Shortly after raising the house bats found it and moved right in. Once some bats moved into the house the Chiroptera Cabin Company Team felt confident about doing the bat exclusion to move the rest of the bats out of Memorial Hall and into the bat house. The fact that bats moved right into the house ment it was placed in a good location, was getting enough direct sunlight, and allowed the bats to regulate their temperature. Everyone was very happy to see bats living in their new home.
