Bat Cabin Vs Bat Condo What is the difference between a Cabin model and a Condo model? Our single chamber Cabins have a single roosting chamber and can accommodate from 50 to 100 bats. Our 2-chamber Cabins have two roosting chambers and can accommodate from 150 to 200 bats. Our Nursery Condos are designed for nursery colonies. They have 4 chambers that provide different temperatures for roosting. A Condo can accommodate from 200 to 300 bats. Our Cabins and Nursery Condos are available in unvented and vented models. The unvented models are designed for the colder areas of North America where the average daytime high temperature in July is less than 85° F. The vented models are for most areas of North America. The vents provide a wider range of temperatures within the roosting chamber. |
